new ‘explanations.’
What is 'Explanations' in
Google Ads?
The explanations will allow
you to understand the reasons for inconstancy in performance for your Search or Google
App mobile campaigns all from one place.
Explanations are currently
available mobile app Google Ads campaigns using Target CPA, a smart bidding strategy offered by Google Ads.

From the many Google YouTube video ads formats available for
advertisers, ‘YouTube Video discovery ads’ is renamed as ‘In-feed video ads.’
Ammar Ibrahim,
Product Manager at Google, YouTube Ads; recently shared the announcement.
There will be no changes to the features and functionality with
this update for using In-feed video ads format and your existing YouTube discovery
videos ads will work fine without any changes required.
It’s just a new name given to one of the popular Google video
ads formats and will show up to advertisers in their Google Ads account over
the next few weeks.
The aim behind the change of name for YouTube discovery video ads is to make it easy for you to target the correct ad types for your business goals.
What is In-feed video ads?
This popular Google video ads format will allow your ads to
be placed in ‘YouTube search results,’ ‘YouTube watch next’ and ‘YouTube app
Home feed’ via an image thumbnail, a headline (up to two lines).

action campaigns’ based on ‘sales,’ ‘leads,’ and ‘website traffic’ goals. And,
with this new update advertisers are now allowed to link product feed to more
Google Ads campaigns subtypes.

'Video action campaigns' is a blend of skippable in-stream ads and in-feed video ads while TrueView for actions campaigns are limited to skippable in-stream
ads.
Starting 2022, 'TrueView for action' campaigns will auto-update to 'Video action campaigns,' until then you are able to only edit it.

Google Ads Editor v 1.8 now has new features and
updates that can help optimize your next Google ads campaigns.
Launched in its November 2021 release, this online Google Ads
Editor version will:
- Offer a new view in Google Ads ‘Overview’ section.
- A new view under ‘Recommendations’ that can help to
automate the application of a certain subset of recommendations for your Google Ads.

- Choose up to four ways for recommendation stats considering
the current stats, estimated stats, increase stats and the percentage in its
increase.
